WHY THE CHANGES?

To understand why things are changing it helps to know a litte about our HISTORY!

HISTORY

The Little Rock area took a remarkable step forward in 1995 to meet an interest in aerospace science and technology. Forward thinking community members founded Aerospace Education Center, including the first GiantScreen Theater in The State of Arkansas and again in 2005 the first digitally projected planetarium (EpiSphere) in the WORLD! This non-profit and privately owned facility ( not affiliated with any institution, city, county, or other entity) is a [501 © (3) organization] funded through private donations, corporate gifts and donations from people like you and me who understand the importance of keeping aerospace live and viable!

MUMMIES: Secrets of The Pharaohs

NOW SHOWING!!!!!!

April-July

follows researchers and explorers as they piece together the archeological and genetic clues of Egyptian mummies. These relics of the past create a window into the fascinating and mysterious world of the pharaohs. In addition to increasing our understanding of the culture, religion, medicine, and daily life thousands of years ago, scientists today are reconstructing mummy DNA and deciphering ancient texts to gain insight into modern human genetics and advance medical treatments. To unwrap the secrets of the pharaohs is to perhaps glimpse the future of our own civilization.
